Matthew S Bradfield

Matthew Bradfield is an accomplished Senior Executive, Entrepreneur, investor, research analyst and company director with more than a decade of success in the cleantech, e-mobility and renewable energy industries. Leveraging extensive experience with business operations, building growth and acquiring capital for expansion. Matthew is a valuable asset for companies seeking guidance and project management for e-mobility deployment,  EV strategy, business development, market analysis, and legislative response. His broad areas of expertise include infrastructure management and roll-out, distributed energy resources, clean tech, smart grid systems, operations management, technology, and financial analysis. 

Throughout his executive career, Matthew has held leadership positions with HEVO Power Europe Ltd.; Fairford US Holdings, Inc.; Saviva Capital LLC; Saviva Research LLC; Hawaiian Pacific Hardwoods LLC; Fairford Medical Ltd.; Northshore Investments Ltd., and Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences. 

As Managing Director of Hevo Power Europe, an enterprise set up as a subsidiary US company expanding into the Europe, UK and the Middle East, Matthew has overseen the acquisitions of a large number of major partner customers in these regions, as well as managing many project deployments of EVSE systems. Matthew is recognised for his highly detailed strategic understanding of the European and UK EV markets. 

Prior to this,  Matthew served as Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Saviva Capital, a US-Based investment vehicle dedicated to the making of investments into globally located public and private businesses and funds. Saviva Capital primarily made direct venture investments into commodity-linked ‘Renewable’ businesses that focused on the cost-effective production and efficient management of essential resources (transport, energy and basic materials)

Previously, Matthew was Director of the Bermuda Bioenergy Project (BBP), a publicly-privately funded development business focused on alternative energy for island communities, based at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Science (BIOS).

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology with Marine Environmental Engineering, from the University of Newcastle. After over a decade of working in different markets around the world, Matthew now lives in London with his dog, Skye. 


Director of Delivery

Ryan Place

Ryan Place is an experienced director and project delivery specialist with a decade of experience in the energy supply, 

e-mobility and energy networks businesses. Using extensive knowledge of the UK Energy System and the challenges faced in delivering the world's transport systems to a new emission-free reality, Ryan is a valuable asset for companies seeking guidance and project management for e-mobility deployment, EV strategy and thought leadership. His broad areas of expertise include project management, project delivery, business transformation incorporating lean process design and infrastructure management and roll-out.

Throughout his career, Ryan has held positions with National Grid, ELEXON, DONG Energy and Shell. 

As Project Manager - Electric Vehicles at National Grid, Ryan helped to develop the proposition for investment in an ultra-rapid charging network on the Strategic Road Network in the UK. This included making the case for National Grid as delivery partner, as well as supporting the development of a pilot project with government bodies and Highways England. In further roles at National Grid he also played a lead role on a business transformation programme looking at making the business more profitable and a variety of Regulatory roles. 

Prior to this at ELEXON, Ryan held an Account Management role interacting with leading UK energy sector market participants ranging from large scale renewable Generator's to Suppliers and Aggregators. At DONG Energy and Shell Ryan held further Account Management and Analyst positions for the commercial supply of Gas and Power to the UK's Industrial and Commercial sectors. 

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Humanities in History, II (with honours) from the University of Kent. He lives in Solihull with his family and enjoys music, sports and travelling in his spare time.
